MICHELANGELO ANTONIONI’S FILM CLASSIC AND PHOTOGRAPHY

This article is about the film ‘Blow-Up’ by Michelangelo Antonion and how he used the photographic ideas from famous photographers and incorporated those ideas into the making of the movie. Blow Up tells us about a fashion photographer by the name of Thomas, played by David Hemmings, who secretly photographs two lovers in a park and then later enlarges the picture believes he has coincidentally documented a murder. I like how he went out to study fashion photographers in their work while preparing to create this movie. I think photographs seen in this article are really good for the time and era they were taken in - this one is my favorite because it creepy and in a sense dark, which gives the movie some angle.
