This is a photo taken by Benoit Paille. It is titled "LSD" which I feel is deemed appropriate seeings as how the caption was so beutifully typed by someone who was clearly intoxicated. I do love this photo for it's intermingling of nature and the astronomical beauty of the stars. I think the reds of the leaves correlates well with the dark blue sky and stars. MICHELANGELO ANTONIONI’S FILM CLASSIC AND PHOTOGRAPHY
This article is about the film ‘Blow-Up’ by Michelangelo Antonion and how he used the photographic ideas from famous photographers and incorporated those ideas into the making of the movie. Blow Up tells us about a fashion photographer by the name of Thomas, played by David Hemmings, who secretly photographs two lovers in a park and then later enlarges the picture believes he has coincidentally documented a murder. I like how he went out to study fashion photographers in their work while preparing to create this movie. I think photographs seen in this article are really good for the time and era they were taken in - this one is my favorite because it creepy and in a sense dark, which gives the movie some angle.

#FF: 13 Aperture Summer Open Photographers On Instagram - Aperture Foundation NY
On July 17, Aperture held a summer expedition to
view photographs by artist outside the contemporary demographic. I thought this
was a good idea because it was a good opportunity for other photographers to
get to have their work viewed by a broader spectrum. Executive director
Chris Boot, chose a select few photographs to display on the walls. He
mentions that by doing this project he could see that for photographers
today, "serious photography, above all, was characterized by a sense
of joy." This particular photograph, among them, was perhaps my
favorite. The photographs were selected from Instagram which has grown into a
widely popular social media used by nearly everyone with a smart phone. This
photograph was my favorite displayed because I enjoyed the vintage technique
used in taking the photo and the actual photo itself - I also love how the
colors all correlate into the shot.

Showing a Career, From the Legs Up
By, Ken Johnson
I chose this article for the art content because I enjoy this particular type of art. It's very creative and fun! This picture is festive and shows a mans legs cleverly and carefully installed into a wall - becoming the wall, thus becoming part of the art work that is! This particular art work was crafted by Robert Gober who continues to make really creative objects and implementing them into modern day art.
